        Published regularly in his youth, Tony Ward resumed poetry writing in retirement. For several years he
        contributed a Poetry+ feature for Sussex Life, leading to his book Unravelling Sussex. During the pandemic,
        following winning a National Memory Day Poetry Prize, he also contributed poetry-based articles for the
        Alzheimer’s Society Blog. He is based in East Sussex.
