Closing Day
Finally the day arrives when the Seller signs
over the deed to you and gives you the keys to your new home!
Your Realtor, lender, and title company or attorney will have all the necessary documents prepared for your signature. They will have coordinated with you and your lender to transfer the funds for purchase. You will need to have a driver’s license or other proof of identity.
Other things you need to consider:
• Arrival of the movers
• Food and drinks for the day
• Will you be able to sleep in your new house?
• Do you need help with childcare or pets?
• Do you want help unpacking?
• Do you have a list of service providers that are known to the seller?
