Monuments provide a lasting tribute to a loved one and honors Jewish tradition. Families may feel overwhelmed by the many details involved in creating a proper memorial. There are designs and inscription decisions to be made, as well as cemetery regulations and Jewish customs and traditions to consider.
ACKNOWLEDGING KINDNESS
In the month after a funeral, it is customary to send thank you notes to friends and family who have attended the funeral, made memorial donations, or sent flowers, cards, food or other condolence gifts.
You can order acknowledgment cards, memorial candles, and shiva benches through your funeral director. Short personal notes can be written on the acknowledgment cards.
