Dingwell Funeral Home has been part of the Souris community since 1912. As the fifth largest community of Prince Edward Island, Souris is a busy port and the hub centre for goods and services in the district. It is also the port for the Magdalen Islands ferry to Cap-aux- Meules – a physical link with the French heritage of Souris.
In 2017, ownership of the funeral home proudly shifted from Gary Dingwell to a fellow Islander, Nathaniel Lamoureux. Nat is totally bilingual, fluent in both French and English, and will be happy to serve a family in which ever language they choose.
As a Souris native, Nat is honoured to carry on the funeral homes proud service to it’s community as the oldest family- owned operation in Prince Edward Island.
