HOW TO MANAGE ANXIETY & END PANIC ATTACKS
Hop on the wheel where you are emotionally at this very point in time. Since the emotions and feelings on the wheel are very close, start shifting your feeling around the wheel in a direction that will move you toward more positive feelings. Shift through the feelings to a feeling you are prepared to stay with at this time. It’s a bit like riding a bike, once you get up a little momentum, you start to feel more stable. Once you settle on an acceptable emotion/feeling for this moment, move to the centre of the wheel and reflect on the gift of Impermanence. Move to the stage of Reward, then list your gratitude’s in the moment and give yourself a Butterfly Hug.
Now remember, this second application does require you to make a value judgment about the emotions – something I asked you not to do in the primary exercise. Just be aware of your intention to place value on the emotion or feeling this time around.
