HOW TO MANAGE ANXIETY & END PANIC ATTACKS
someone who has ‘been there, done that.’
I have clients I have seen for years. They came to me to end
their panic attacks and ease their anxiety, and they did. And they come back to check in as often as we feel is necessary to ensure their golf swing keeps getting them those holes-in-one!
Once this technique is mastered, we can usually taper off the frequency of our sessions. I meet my Anxiety Masters about four times a year and whenever they are facing big challenges or changes in their life. This longer-term plan ensures that the work we did, the skills they mastered, doesn’t get forgotten or slide enough to start to cause problems.
Most importantly, therapy provides a safe place for you to objectively review you, and take note of whether you are doing life, or life is doing you! Therapy is a place you can make certain you are connecting with your best self rather than get- ting lost in all of the thoughts that might be distracting you at any given moment.
Are you doing life, or is it doing you?
I honestly love my clients. Together we have retold count- less stories, healed old wounds, forged new trails, cried, and laughed. We both learn to be better and happier people be- cause of our time together.
So be Intentional and go find your Olympic brain coach! Trust me: Over time you will create a unique and powerful alliance that will change your world for the better, and help you keep that change rockin’ for the long term!
