  Obituary
Mildred Diane Sisco was born August 4, 1930 in Selma, Alabama.
After spending most of her younger years in Alabama, she and her late husband Lonnie Leon Sisco Jr moved to Flint, Michigan in 1956. Mildred and Lonnie have 4 sons: Timo- thy Sr, Thomas, Therman Sr. and Terrence. Also raising her nephew David Weaver. Mil- dred’s latest occupation was a paraprofessional for Flint Community Schools. She taught for over 27 years and retired in 1998. Mildred loved gardening, going to church, teaching, cooking and feeding everyone.
Mildred accepted Christ as her personal savior at an early age. She was a dedicated mem- ber and mother of the church to Liberty Christian Outreach Ministry under the lead- ership of the late Bishop Billie K. Bamberg and Higher Quality of Life Ministries under the leadership of Pastor Ronnie Wiggins. Mildred’s church family loved, respected and adored her because she treated them as her own close family.
Mildred has two sisters: Queenella McGee and Belinda “Sister Sue” Gipson and one brother, Muhammad “Rescue” Jinnah. Mildred leaves to cherish her memory: Grandkids, Delorean Owens, Tiffany Sisco, Montrelle Shackelford, Adrian Williams, Satorria Jenkins, Leon Sisco, Deon Sisco, Therman Sisco Jr, Alexander Williams-Sisco , Chanel Sisco, Am- ber Williams, Jaszmane Sisco, Taylar Sisco, Aaron Blockton, TaCreshia Sisco, Timothy
Jr., Marcus Coleman, Ashley Sisco, Tiara Fountain, Yutina Allen, Shantel Shackelford, Dawanta Robertson, Porshe Robertson, Tarree buford, Deonjanea Brown, Christina Wil- liams, LaQuita Williams, Patrick Williams, Ciara Morgan, Kevin Morgan, Donte Dumas, Ezekiel “Zeke” Banks, Johnnie Bishop, TaQuayon Pendleton, Deiondre Berry, Whitney Gipson, Ebony Gipson, Marlo Taft and Earl Jones. Also being a mother to Fred Wells, Angie McNeal, Laronda Shackelford, Brenda Sisco, Patricia Williams, Lisa Scales, Tonya Buck and Fannie Green. Mildred had a total of 29 Great grandchildren. A host of nieces, nephews, and cousins from the Sisco, Brown, Weaver, Seay and Neely families.
Mildred was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Lonnie Leon Sisco Jr,; daugh- ter Felicia Sisco; a host of brother and sister in laws, grandson Alexander Williams-Sisco.
