Untuk mendukung Perseroan dalam pengembangan bisnis melalui inovasi produk, pada tahun 2016, Departemen Riset dan Pengembangan meluncurkan beberapa produk baru untuk menambah pilihan menu bagi konsumen, sesuai dengan strategi dan produk platform yang ditetapkan oleh Perseroan. Produk Ayam Pada akhir tahun di bulan Oktober diluncurkan varian ayam baru Hot & Cheesy Chicken. Varian ini merupakan ide dan gagasan baru bagi KFC karena Hot & Chessy Chicken adalah ayam COB Hot & Spicy dan kemudian dicelupkan ke dalam saus keju pedas. Sebagai pendamping, pada bulan November diluncurkan juga BBQ Chicken, dengan konsep yang sama dan saus yang berbeda menggunakan saus BBQ.
To support Company's efforts on business development through product innovation, the Research and Development Department launched a couple of new products in 2016 providing additional menu options to customers, in accordance with the strategy and product platform established by the Company. Chicken Products At the end of October, a new chicken variant, Hot & Cheesy Chicken, was launched. This variant was a new idea for KFC where the Hot & Spicy COB is dipped in spicy cheese sauce. To provide another variant of dipped chicken, BBQ sauce chicken was launched in November, sharing the same concept with a different sauce using BBQ sauce.
Kategori Menu Goceng Platform yang sudah ada sejak tahun 2005 diterapkan dalam sistem menu KFC adalah ”produk Goceng”. Pada bulan Februari diluncurkan produk Puding Mangga. Produk ini merupakan pilihan puding bagi konsumen dengan rasa buah mangga yang segar. Sebagai pendamping, pada bulan yang sama diluncurkan juga Milkberry Float. Pilihan float dengan rasa buah beri dengan susu dan diberikan es krim di atasnya. Pertengahan tahun, pada bulan Juli, Ocean Float mengikuti sebagai pilihan minuman baru bagi konsumen. Ocean Float terbuat dari campuran soda dengan es krim sebagai pemanis di atasnya. Creme Chessy Float menyusul pada bulan Oktober untuk mendampingi produk COB yang baru, Hot & Cheesy Chicken. Minuman ini merupakan baru bagi konsumen dengan rasa keju yang unik dengan topping es krim di atasnya. Untuk tambahan hidangan penutup, pada bulan Desember diluncurkan Happy Sundae. Sundae dengan topping sirup leci dan strawberry disajikan sebagai varian baru menutup tahun.
Menu Goceng CategoryThe platform that has been around since 2005 applied in KFC menu system is "Goceng product". As a new product under this category, Mango Pudding product was launched in February. This product is a new variant of pudding for customers with fresh mango flavour. To complement it, Milkberry Float was launched in the same month. The float has the taste of berries with milk and ice cream topping. In the middle of the year, in the month of July, a new drink, Ocean Float was the chosen drink for customers. It is made of a mixture of soda with ice cream topping as sweetener. Creme Chessy Float followed in October to complement the new COB chicken product, Hot & Cheesy Chicken. This drink is new for customers with a unique cheese flavor with ice cream topping. As an additional dessert, Happy Sundae was launched in December. Sundae with lychee and strawberry syrup topping was presented as a new variant in the closing of the year.
