The priest, blessing him with the sign of the Cross, says:
May God, through the prayers of the holy, glorious, and all praised Apostle and Evangelist (name), enable you to proclaim the glad tidings with great power, to the fulfill­ ment of the Gospel of His beloved Son, our Lord, Jesus Christ.
