Managing the Public Debt and issuing Government bonds for a total amount of USD 10 Billion at competitive prices.
Working with Credit Rating Agencies, which resulted in S&P Global Ratings and Fitch Ratings affirming the credit ratings for Abu Dhabi at AA/A-1+ and AA respectively and maintaining its future outlook stable and also Moody's Investors Service affirmed the credit ratings for Abu Dhabi at Aa2 while changing its outlook from negative to stable.
Conducting a detailed study and review of the Government loans based on current situation through examining agreements, interest rates and the repayments schedules, along with assessing the probabilities of collecting those loans and debtors ability to repay them.
Preparing and issuing a number of financial reports including the Government of Abu Dhabi Financial Statements for the year ended 31 December 2016, quarterly financial reports, Government Investments Report, Public Debt and Government Guarantees Report and Government Lending Report.
Providing support and advice to various Government Entities, Corporations and Companies on accounting and financial matters.
Developing Financial Statements preparation instructions and templates for Government Entities, Corporations and Companies.
Developing the draft Financial Control System to implement it on all Government Entities as per the governance principles adopted in the Emirate as well as the international best practices.
Developing the Regulatory and Operating Framework for Government Procurement, which included the objectives of Government Wide Agreements, its categories and the strategy of procuring such categories.
Launching the Government Procurement Electronic Gate Project.
Signing the group buying contract for the health insurance of employees of the Government of Abu Dhabi (expatriates and non-beneficiaries of Thiqa Programme).
Linking several Government Entities to the Electronic System for the Management of Public Financial Resources in addition to providing the necessary support and services to current and existing users.
Providing training to Government Entities, Corporations and Companies employees on financial matters.
