• The presence at baseline of granular casts in the urine correlated with:
• Log S-creat (p <0.05) • Proteinuria (p <0.001)
• Albuminemia (p <0.001)
• Acute tubular damage (p <0.001)
• Mesangial sclerosis (p <0.001)
• Crescents/fibrinoid necrosis (p <0.05)
• Higher probability to develop ESRD at 3 years: with casts (N = 116): 014% (p <0.01) without casts (N = 157): 0.03%
