• It also shows that the difference between the two types of GN is based not only on RBCs and erythrocytic casts but also on WBCs, RTE cells and RTEC casts,a finding which had not been reported before
• In proliferative GD, the number of WBCs, correlates with degree of intra- and extra-capillary proliferation and of fibrinoid necrosis, while the number of RBCs and RTE cells correlates with the degree of fibrinoid necrosis
