Tee it high and let it fly!
THE SHORE CLUB, Cape May County’s premiere private golf course, is getting even better – and better. Hard to believe, but it’s true. The classic course, overlooking the Stone Harbor Bay, has a reputation – well earned – for perfect course conditions, a friendly and diverse membership and amazing food and beverage service.
Not ready to rest on their laurels and exceptional reputation, The Shore Club has instituted a variety of changes and improvements. Where to start? How about a fleet of new golf carts, with double USB ports, on-board coolers and Visage GPS. The driving range redesign got a head start last fall and the newly completed practice facility.
Ongoing improvements and maintenance include leveling some tee boxes, rebuilding some of those dreaded bunkers and even renumbering the holes to make for a more enjoyable round of golf. Recently renovated and expanded, the Pro Shop offers a full line of men’s and women’s golf apparel, club selections, and other needed accessories.
And, as those ads on TV say, wait, there’s more! Four regulation pickleball courts, professionally striped with a windscreen, a bocce court near the clubhouse. A new full service snack bar on the course features a grill, smoker, beverages and more.
The Shore Club offers several membership programs with a full schedule of special
events both on and off the golf course. The club’s renovated, upscale bar and restaurant provides members with superb service inside, at the bar, or outside on the patio around the firepit.
