 Dockside changes enhance ferry experience
 CALLING ALL SEASONED SAILORS
and first-time riders. All day-trippers and travelers. All families, bikers, RVers, dog lovers, and vitamin D seekers! Head to the Cape May Ferry Terminal in Lower Township for a day at sea or enjoy activities at the terminal.
The MV Delaware, one of three vessels in the Cape May-Lewes Ferry fleet, is back in service for the 2023 season after several
months in dry dock and an $8 million makeover. Amenities include a fully re-designed and renovated Crow’s Nest lounge and other improvements that add to the enjoyment of your Delaware Bay cruise.
The Cape May Ferry Terminal now has two new Level 2 dual-port electric vehicle charging stations open during the ferry’s business hours.
The 85-minute cruise across Delaware Bay
connects the iconic New Jersey peninsula and shore towns with Delaware’s beaches. On board passengers can see historic lighthouses, picturesque harbors, oceangoing vessels, seabirds, whales, and dolphins.
The ferry operates a seasonal shuttle from Cape May’s Welcome Center to the Cape May Terminal. From Lewes Terminal, the DART Route 204 bus operates seasonally.
Exciting changes are happening around the Cape May Terminal including Café 64, that serves artisanal coffee and breakfast items plus food and beverages throughout the day. The Lookout on the second floor with an enticing menu, with fabulous sunset views. Downstairs check out Exit Zero Ferry Station featuring ice cold pints, refreshing cocktails, a raw bar and more.
The ferry will kick off the summer season hosting the 10th annual Escape the Cape Triathlon June 11, with 2,000 athletes from over 40 states jumping off the ferry into the bay.
