What Will Your Ferry Tale Be?!

History buffs take the ferry to see the military installations on both sides of the bay and learn how Delaware and New Jersey combined forces to protect the mouth of the Delaware River and Philadelphia during World War II. Others come to see ceremonies at the U.S Coast Guard Training Center, visit military museums at the Cape May Airport or the restored World War II Lookout Tower near Sunset Beach.
Maybe it’s a Bucket List to visit all 50 states, or a ferry or lighthouse tour of the country. Birders come on board to spot special migrations while others just enjoy watching the gulls and bay birds trailing the ferry. It’s a great way to enjoy local breweries and wineries on both sides of the bay – and the sunsets are spectacular.
Every year the ferry is the backdrop for the most romantic of adventures from proposals on the deck to weddings on the grounds. Many couples return to celebrate milestone anniversaries.
