Parallel linkages provide unbeatable
contour following and accurate depth control
Only direct drill on the market with adjustable row spacing as standard. A quick adjust system can reduce rows from 10” (25cm) to 5” (12.5cm). There is also an option to have 20” (50cm) row spacing using alternative assemblies.
For seed and fertiliser applications seed uses the rear coulter whilst fertiliser is placed down the front, slightly to the right of the seed
Unique J shaped low draught tines feature a tungsten carbide tip. Narrow 12mm points create a fine tilth, meaning the minimum power requirement of the drill is just 20-25hp/m.
ARTEMIS CONTROL
All our drills utilise the RDS iSOCAN Artemis multi-channel electronic seed metering system which can be linked into the tractor’s GPS unit.
Features include an auto pre-start function to get product to the coulters before the machine is moving and a variable rate facility that allows the user to adjust seed rates on the move.
Marker sequence can also be controlled, while the system also allows basic data logging to produce field records.
Pre-defined seeding plans can also be loaded for automated variable seed rate application and essential seed drill control and monitoring functions come as standard, including: low hopper level alarms, fan speed alarms, forward speed, tramline count and control (symmetric & asymmetric) and information totals (area, weight used & job duration).
The iSOCAN system is iSOBUS compatible and can be controlled through the iSOBUS UT with the addition of an iSOBUS cable to provide up to four channel section control and automatic headland on/off.
