The idea for the Belize International Festival came to friends on a road trip, while traveling on the beautiful Hummingbird Highway three years ago. Like a seed it blossomed and is now a reality thanks to synchronicity and the hard work of many who believe with all their hearts that the healing of a nation begins within. This group is dedicated to spreading the healing benefits of yoga, meditation and other forms of wellness throughout Belize. Their mission is to offer every Belizean the tools these ancient practices provide to live a happy, healthy and productive life."
The Belize International Yoga Festival is designed to bring together yoga and meditation practitioners, aspirants and the general public from around the world to enjoy soulful moments of wellness, healing, relaxation and reflection. The Festival will offer options that could bring more positive interactions, which are vitally important for the well-being of our communities and country. "
This Festival is the first of its kind in Belize and the region, " patterned after similar festivals around the world."
