Tyfara Andazi Panton (Treasurer) started her yoga journey
while taking acting & musical theater classes in New York City in 2008. She was encouraged to take yoga to foster a better connection with her “inner self”. She started practicing Vinyasa and Bikram Yoga, but it was through Hatha Yoga that she found the mind/body connection she was looking for. She received a 200hr Teacher Certification in December 2013 from the Belize Yoga Institute, via Savitri Yoga Shal, formed by Yogi Charu. Her goal is to share and spread the peace that yoga brings to her community and beyond.
