VAT on Construction – New Reverse Charge Rules
Our course will provide an in-depth understanding for those with responsibilities in the Construction Industry Scheme (CIS) or VAT invoicing and accounting.
What Is A Domestic Reverse Charge
A domestic reverse charge is a system whereby the customer receiving the supply of specified construction services must account for the VAT due, rather than the supplier. In turn, the customer deducts the VAT due to the supply as an input, meaning no net tax is payable to HMRC. This removes the scope to evade any VAT owing to HMRC.
How We Can Help
Our experienced speakers will assist you in understanding how the new VAT on Construction rules will affect supplies at the standard or reduced rates, where payments are required to be reported through CIS.
