Walk on nature trails surrounding Chehalem Glenn Golf Course and also at adjacent Schaad Park. Yes, you can walk on the trails while the golfers are golfing. These walking trails are mostly flat, with some gentle grades. Some portions have chips underfoot and some, in the wooded areas, are dirt floor and fallen pine needles.

Gettman Loop (1.6 miles) - Enjoy views around the south portion of the golf course. Portions of this trail are alongside the course, and some duck down into surrounding forest which will transport you from town into fern-covered creekside trails shaded beneath dense fir trees. Park in the golf course parking lot at the event tent, across from the pro shop. Look for the two trailhead signs near the road in front of the driving range and to the left of the pavillion.
Be sure to check out the Camellia Grove in front of the driving range (Sign faces the road and is located between the two Gettman Loop trailheads). Multiple varieties of Newberg’s official flower are identified and flourish beneath the oak trees.
