Private Lessons
These classes have a 1-to-1 or 1-to-2 instructor to student ratio. Students will be taught at their own level with their personal goals and objectives in mind. Lessons by appointment only; contact 503.537.2909. Cost per 30-minute lesson is $20/25; add a second student for $14/17 per lesson.
Special needs Lessons
Swim lessons for individuals with special needs are available on an appointment basis. Lessons typically run twice a week for either ve or ten lessons. Instructors work within each student’s abilities to create a realistic objective for student and parent. To be added to the waitlist, contact the receptionist. Cost per 30-minute lesson is $14/17.

Registration is required for many of our aquatic instructional programs. To ensure your spot and
to avoid class cancellation, register early. Registration can be done in person (1802 Haworth Ave., Newberg, OR 97132), over the phone (503.537.2909), or online at cprdnewberg.org. Students for swim lessons are registered according to age and skill level. Classes not meeting the minimum enrollment number may be cancelled.
Early Bird Discount
Register early (by 7:00 p.m. on the Thursday preceding the rst lesson/practice) and receive a $5.00 discount per swimmer/athlete when enrolling into our Learn-To-Swim or water polo programs. Private and Special Needs lessons are not eligible.
Financial Aid Scholarships
Chehalem Park & Recreation District provides children 18 years of age and younger living within our boundaries with recreation opportunities regardless of nancial need. Please inquire at the reception desk to pick up a nancial aid request form.
