Ennis Noon Lions Club Does its Part
Lion Bob Taylor Secretary Ennis Noon Lions Club
The Ennis Noon Lions Club held the first of two eye glass clinics on Wednesday October 11th at the Tabernacle Baptist Church Family Life Center. Forty-seven students from elementary through high school grades will be receiving new eye glasses. These clinics are yearly projects at the Ennis Noon Lions Club and they certainly live up to our moto of “WE SERVE”.
The school nurses do a great job of providing the names of the students who are in need of glasses. Our own Lion Kathy Cikanek directs this effort at the schools. Lions assisting with the eye clinic are Lions Lynn and Jackie Webster, Bob and Betty Taylor, Debbie Lane, Dixie Moore, Bill Blackmon, Doug Norton, Dr. Alexander Weir and Walter Beasley. Their work is deeply appreciated.
The next clinic is already planned for March 7, 2018. Centennial Celebration
PDG Carolyn Dorman MD2/LRP Centennial Coordinator
The Centennial Celebration was very important for the Lions of Texas. It was a time to celebrate the past and present while looking to the Future. The many Lions from all over Texas were an important part of the program.
