Your Lions/Leo Club may organize a “Community Outreach Project” for
FREE screening for A1C and 12-test CMP FREE blood pressure check up FREE height, weight, BMI figures
How It Works:
Irving DFW Indian Lions Club will provide (at NO COST to your Lions Club)

Sponsoring Lions Club will provide:
40-50 (or more) Adults (18+ yrs) NOT diagnosed with Diabetes for a Saturday project.
In your community, a facility (with power outlets) of a large room/hall with 3-4 tables and
few chairs for the Registration, blood-pressure check, weighing machine etc; another small
private room (with power outlets, a table/3 chairs) for drawing blood sample for test.
4-5 volunteers, preferably bilingual, to manage the crowd and assist the visitors.
Schedule the visitors in smaller batches over the period of 4 hours(Saturday from 8:00 AM)
We will most welcome your qualified volunteers to assist our Medical Team for drawing the
blood and/or checking the BP (please let us know in advance availability of such volunteers)
Our Medical Team typically needs 2-3 weeks’ notice to coordinate the project at your site.
The last Saturday that can be scheduled for this community project is November 18, 2017
