The new Lion Neil Roach Mobile Eye Clinic or the “Neil Mobil" was on full display with guided tours during the breakout sessions at the Mid-Winter. The Mobile Eye Clinic was received in November and saw its first action in December at the home of the late Lion Neil Roach, the Garland Evening Lions Club Clinic. The bus is shorter by about 6 feet and doesn't require a professional driver to drive it. It still has 2 doctor workstations and fits five students and 3 marauding Lions comfortably. It actually seems bigger and more spacious. Hope you had time to see because it’s all scheduled up because LS&TF wants “TO SERVE”.
Global Action Team
The Global Action Team consists of the GLT, GMT and the newly created GST. By working together as one team, the Global Action Team, along with LCIF, will enable us to expand on our motto, "We Serve," as it takes on a new and unified approach to service, membership and leadership development at all levels of the association. The Global Action Team will launch on July 1st.
Please join the Global Action Team Chairperson, Past
International President Dr. Wing-Kun Tam, as he shares the
vision and mission of the Global Action Team and how the Global Action Team will be a valuable resource to all Lions!
Look for Past International President Dr. Tam who will be presenting information on the Global Action Team during the area leadership forums throughout the year.
