LS&TF AWARDS
The highest award that can be purchased is the "Howard Snyder Award". This is presented to Individuals, Corporations, Lions or Lions Clubs that have contributed over $10,000 to the Foundation
In District 2-X1, following two Awards from Lions Sight & Tissue Foundation symbolize highest achievement as true "knights of blind" challenged by Helen Keller in her 1925 speech. The Helen Keller Award, or the PDG "Pancho" Luna Fellow or the Pete Anderson Award or the William S. Harris Award are awarded to these "knights".
A contribution to Lions Sight &Tissue Foundation will not only qualify you (need not be Lion) for the prestigious Award but also will help to give the 'gift of sight' to some deserving persons:
Hellen Keller Award
The “Helen Keller Award” was created to recognize those who have gone above and beyond in their dedication and service to the foundation. It is awarded by the Board of Directors.
