ZONE TEAM LEADER
The clubs in 2-X1 District are grouped in 10 (ten) Zones, each with 5 to 8 clubs under the leadership of a Zone Chair. The Zone Chair is the chief administrative officer in his/ her zone and is the link between the clubs in the zone and the district leadership team.
During the year, Zone Chairs –
• Play an active role in the leadership development
and membership development at the club level and
extension of new clubs in the District.
• Motivate and counsel club members; and monitor
the affairs and health of each club.
• Visit each Club in their Zone at least once.
• Attend each Cabinet Meeting of the District 2-X1 and
give a Report on their Zone.
• Ensure that the President and/or the Secretary of
each club update members’ full data in the LCI’s
website to keep it current all the time.
• Hold Zone Meetings three times a year -
September, November and March.
• Notify the District Governor, GMT, GLT and GST of
the date and location of the Zone meetings so that the District Governor and/or a Representative can also attend the zone meetings.
• Club Officers' attendance must attend all zone meetings as one of the criteria to qualify for District Governor’s "100% Secretary Award” & "100% President Award"
