MELVIN JONES FELLOWS
The Melvin Jones Fellowship (MJF) created in 1973, is named in honor of the founder of Lions Clubs International, Melvin Jones. The fellowship was established as the highest form of LCIF’s recognition to acknowledge an individual’s dedication and commitment to humanitarian service. MJF is an honor, not an Award. The honoree need not be a Lions club member. Melvin Jones Fellows receive an attractive lapel pin, a plaque and a congratulatory letter. Progressive program of MJF began in 1986 as a way to recognize lions’ continued commitment to LCIF. PMJF receives a new lapel pin and a congratulatory letter (one *diamond each in yellow gold representing every subsequent $1000 donation to LCIF).
