Our District Governors Out and About
Well Cedar Hill Lions Club held their Annual Pancake Breakfast last February 23 at the Good Shepard Church in Cedar Hill Texas. When they arrived they fought their way through a steady crowd from 7:00am to 11:00am. There were many folks from the local community but many of our district Lions club
members were also on hand to devour over a 1000 pancakes, along with sausage, juice and coffee. There was even a silent auction with some very interesting items for bidding. Among the hungry folks were five Past District Governors - PDG Henry White, PDG Alice Conway, PDG Darla Wisdom, PDG Wayne Meachum and PDG Bill Melton.
Overall a great time of fellowship was had and at the same time the Cedar Hill Lions Club found that their 2019 version of a Pancake Breakfast was one of its most successful, attendance wise and financially. The Cedar Hill Lions Club and 5 Past District Governors showed us how to have fun, make a couple of bucks and “WE SERVE”.
