2017 -18 Directory
Well it’s that time of the year again for all of our great Lion secretaries to update their club membership information. Your officer updates to the LCI website member information (PU-101) files should have been completed by the time you read this. If not “we know who you are” and your directory editor will hunt you down for the information.:)
It is imperative that these files be accurate for many reasons but especially for your District 2-X! Directory. This is the one communication document that the district as a whole will use as contact information between the clubs, charities, committees, zones and chairs. Our goal is to have the 2017-18 Directory available on line by July 1st and in paperback book for the 1st Cabinet meeting on July 22nd. Before the book is published an email will be sent out to each individual secretary for their approval of the officer member information, meeting time-location, club number and charter date. Each individual Zone chair will be contacted to verify their information as well as the Committee chairs and charity chairs.
Currently the 2016-17 directory will continue to be updated on line weekly with changes being published in the Lions Link monthly. If you have any changes to the current directory continue to forward that information to Lion Tom McCallister at tmlpsm@hotmail.com for processing. Your support is imperative to our success in getting the information out to the district in a timely and accurate fashion.
Our on-line version for the 2017-18 will remain the same with separate files in place for the Directory Book, District History, Charity Awards Listing and the Texas Family. Per popular demand the new 2017-18 Directory in book form will now include all of these areas of information that you will also find on-line as well as alphabetical listing of members and a table of contents to find what you are looking for throughout the directory.
To help the District offset the extra cost of the directory we are offering advertising space. The cost is as follows.
• $300.00 - Cover ads (inside front, inside back and outside back)
• $100.00 - Single page ads
• $50.00 - Half page Ads
• $25.00 – Quarter (business card) ads
