JIMMY THOMPSON FELLOWSHIP AWARD
The Board of Directors of Julien C. Hyer Lions Youth Camp to recognize Clubs or individuals contributing $1000 or more to the Camp created the Jimmy Thompson Fellow Award in 2012. The award honors Lion Jimmy Thompson (an active Lion for 42 years) who served on the Camp Board for 12 years and provided financial support to the group, estimated at some $400,000, through the years. Lion Jimmy was an avid supporter of all Lions activities related to youth their health, welfare and personal responsibility.
