In order to streamline various contributions and donations received by District 2-X1 from Lions Clubs, Lions, non-lions, corporations, etc. for various causes, Lions District 2-X1 created a non-profit charity organization 2-X1 Charities Inc. in 2005. 2-X1 Charities, Inc. is a 501(c)(3) non-profit entity and all donations are tax-exempt as allowed by IRS.
