The LIONS SIGHT & TISSUE FOUNDATION, INC. (LS&TF) is a working Board of Directors made up of 15 board members This Board works for the Lions of District 2-X1 to assist clubs within their communities to serve people who cannot afford the proper visual care or medical assistance for vision related surgeries.
The LS&TF has a fully equipped Mobile Vision Bus that was purchased in 2006. The Mobile Vision Bus purchase was made possible by donations from individual Lions, Lions Clubs of District 2-X1, and a grant from LCIF. Since acquiring the Mobile Vision Bus, the LS&TF has partnered with local Lions Clubs and Independent School Districts to server over 3,000 children and adults in the District.
Some of the costs that the Clubs are asked to help with include:

The Foundation needs the support of the Lions and Lions Clubs of District 2-X1. Please be sure to include, when planning your club’s budget your Club’s 100% Contribution, the cost of a clinic or one of the LS&TF awards listed on page 85)

BOD Meetings: 6:30 pm on 2nd Thursday each month at the Denny’s Restaurant 1415 Medical District Dallas, TX 75207. Any and all Lions are welcomed to attend meeting.
