Nubian ‘Princess’, Aswan - 1999
Human dignity has a royal appearance which reveals its origin. An elderly Nubian princess sits on the trading floor of the souk in Aswan. The dust of her alleys have filled my lungs. In all this discomfort, I have seen something! Do you wish to see the noble? Sit down in the back streets where you would least expect to find them!
The domino players are unwitting subjects in my enquiry.
