Rams Run Wild And Drive Their Way To State Championship
After racing across the field, hoping to beat their opponents, accepting the two losses, and loving all their wins, the Varsity Field Hockey team rejoiced over their NJAIS Division “ B” State Championship. To motivate the team, coach Arlene Jachim bought a can of soda for each player who scored a goal. Team captain, Leslie Stout, received the most valuable player award and the recognition of being the highest scorer. Michele MacMahon and Cindy Weare both received the coach’s award. Miss Jachim said, “This has been the most enthusiastic and cooperative group of young women I have had the pleasure to coach in field hockey. They truly deserved to be awarded the State Title for Independent Schools.”
