“ Commitment produces pride; coachability tran scends the ability to take direction; goals are the product of dreams and sacrifice.” Coach Joseph Dolinski’s words became the foundation of the Varsity Football’s spirit and attitude. Adhering to this groundwork, the Rams achieved the Indepen dent State Title for the second consecutive year. The Rams lost two of their first three games, but wound up the season five and three. The critical game occured on Homecoming Day against Montclair-Kimberly. Though the Rams fell behind six nothing in the first quarter, they rallied to a 26-6 victory, seizing the Independent State Title.
The coaches had a difficult time deciding the winners of this year’s awards because of the enor mous individual contributions during the season. However, after much deliberation, Ken Ring re ceived the Coach's Award and John Skolka received the Most Valuable Player Award. With the return of many players next season, the Rams look forward to another strong season.
