TEMPORA ET MORES, Times and Customs, best represents what we felt was our main objective— to create the first chapter of the Wardlaw-Hartridge School. During 1977 some customs were abolished, others were adopted, and prece dents for new ones were set. As the staff of TEMPORA ET MORES, it was our responsibility to put together a yearbook that best exemplified these changes. It is up to the reader to decide whether or not we were successful in meeting our responsibility.
This yearbook was a communal effort and I would like to thank all those who had a part in it. Anyone on the staff knows how vital Mr. George Ljutich has been to the yearbook. He was responsible for many of the innovative ideas which make this yearbook unique. Mrs. Elaine Bart, aided by business editors Cindy Smith and Robert Bronstein, efficiently ran the advertising staff and single-handedly laid out the business section. I would also like to thank Mrs. Julie Timberlake, who gave freely of her time to proof-read much of the copy.
I would like to thank the staff and in particular Sarah Edwards, Sue Moon, Jay Decker, Kory Berg, Miriam Wysoker, and Megan Willis. I would also like to thank the editors, Benedene Cannata, Mark Medici, Heidi Haas, and especially Billy Neal. It was these people who made the yearbook a reality.
Special thanks must go to the professional assistance of Mr. Phil Berkebile and Mr. Wynne Murchison. Mr. Berkebile's expert photography saved many a deadline and everything we know about yearbooks can be attributed to Mr. Murchison.
We hope you dig.
