The Rams prepared for the season with summer workouts starting in late July and ending mid-August. They then went to Camp Cayuga in the Pocono Moun tains. There, the team began to come together and set up this seasons' game plan. They scrimmaged Johnson Regional of Clark, a cham pionship school, that gave the Rams great prac tice for the upcomin season. A pre-sea son scrimmage against the Dalton School of Mew York pointed out both strengths and w eaknesses for the Rams. After last season's prep B state title, 24 players came out for this year's team, a recent high. Head Coach Dave Curtin is optimistic. He stated, "little by little we're coming together, it will take a while, but the improvement is tremen dous."
Curtin realizes that repeating will be dif ficult, "People are always coming after you when you're a champion. It's nice
but difficult."
