The W-H girls varsity basketball team has a lot going for it this sea­ son. The last two seasons, this team went all the way to the state championship.
Senior Sarah Williamson at point guard and s o p h o m o r e Quidara Russell at forward have combined for most of the team's offense. The other major contributors are
junior Jackie Sibblies at center. Junior Rina Singh at guard, and
senior Kelly Dowdy at forward.
"Everyone's very athletic, and there's a decent amount of skill and speed," said Singh about the W-H team.
Just as all players and teams have their pre-game rituals, the Lady Rams too have their superstitions.
"We've developed some good luck rituals. The players touch the ball sometime during the day, to remind them of the importance of the game."
