Yearbook Recognizes Mr. Timberlake
If one were to pose the question of who was the most important member of publications, one of the most .conscientious teachers, and probably
lakes. Mr. Timberlake is the vital ingredient in all three publications while Mrs. Timberlake, always ready with a smile, works as the backbone of the office staff.

Besides being an excellent teacher, Mr. Timber- lake is also one of the best sources of advice in the school. A student knows that, if he has a problem, he can count on Mr. Timberlake’s experience and good common sense to assist him.
Mr. Lewis B. Timberlalce is the obvious answer. The 1970 Maroon and Gold is dedicated to him.
Mr. Timberlalce is always in command, whether it is in the publications room or in a heated class room discussion. Known affectionately as “Don Luis,” his instruction in the field of foreign lan guages has been invaluable at Wardlaw. He tem pers a rigid classroom routine with his own inimi
Mr. Timberlake first came to Wardlaw in 1946, left in 1950, and finally returned in 1963. He has been a particularly good friend of the Class of 1970, and to him we offer our sincere thanks for times past and best wishes for the years that lie ahead.
