On Thursday, January 9, students normally dressed in ties and jackets roamed the halls in jeans and instead of a textbook in hand, a Sony Walkman. Why? Senior Jerry Casagrande was headmaster-for-a-day, and that’s the way he wanted it!
Jerry became headmaster-for-a-day when he purchased the privilege at the Senior Class Service Auction. For two hundred dollars, Jerry bought the right to do nearly any thing that he wanted.
Anybody looking for Mr. Casagrande could find him in his office, which also served as a senior lounge. By the end of the day, W -H had been restored to a resem blance of normality ... or should we say morality?
