This year’s chorale has been one of Wardlaw-Hartridge’s biggest and best. Made up of seventy-one singers from grades nine to twelve, the chorale has accomplished many things unth­ ought of in the past. Their performance of Ralph Vaughan Wil­ liams’ twenty-one page masterpiece. Fantasia on Christmas Carols, came after months of rehearsal and became the high­ light of their Winter Concert. Led by Music Director Fred Fischer, next year’s chorale can expect to be bigger and stron­ ger.
From the ranks of the chorale. Music Director Fred Fischer chose twenty-one outstanding singers to form the Varsity Singers. Aside from the Christmas and Spring Concerts, the Varsity Singers also performed for special occasions. This year the Varsity Singers even provided entertainment for a meeting of the Board of Trustees.
