Varsity Soccer
This year the Varsity Soccer Team, coached by Mr. Freeman, posted a very fine 9-6-1 record. The seniors on the team played a very important role, since many of them were on the starting line-up. The team was also helped by promising freshmen and sophomores. The outstanding goalie, Greg Raudelunas, won three All- State honors (two as First Team). Mark Gruba also captured an All-State honor (First Team). The team M.V.P. went to Nate Kaplan; the Coaches’Award went to Bob Sadaty and Pete Colangelo. Although hurt by graduation this spring, the W-H Varsity Soccer Team can look for solid teams in the future.
