 MIDDLE
SCHOOL
The sixth, seventh, and eighth grades make up the Wardlaw MIDDLE SCHOOL, headed most successfully for many years by Miss Marion Kilpatrick. This is a three year transitional period which helps the boy bridge the gap between the elementary child, and the more mature secondary student. It is in this intermediate period that the grow ing boy may "try his wings" with con fidence, guided by the excellent Middle School faculty.
JUNIOR STUDENT COUNCIL
The governing organization of Ward- law's Middle and Lower Schools, known as the Junior Student Council, is made up of seven members from the sixth, seventh, and eighth grades, each repre senting his class in school affairs.
This year's Junior Council advisor has been Headmaster Mr. Prentice Horne, under whose guidance the Council has undertaken such tasks as the running of dances and maintaining the cloakroom for the Mothers' Bridge.
Sports, dances, lessons, and friendly gatherings—these are typical of the Mid dle Schooler, and at Wardlaw all go into "SHAPING A BETTER WORLD . .
