Wardlaw’s Band, under the direction of Mr. James Mobley, has continued its policy of presenting well-performed music for its annual Holiday Concert. Featured in this concert was a Trumpet Trio, along with several other pieces of music by the full band.
The bulk of the thirty-member band is in the seventh and eighth grades this year, and these younger members have proved themselves worthy of playing the quality of music the band is known for.
Despite the loss of members to last year’s graduation, the Wardlaw Glee Club has proved to be as good as ever this year. The nineteen Glee Clubbers sang before a full and appreciative house at the annual Christmas Concert in December presenting a group of new Christmas carols.
The singers were again under the skillful direction of Mr. Arthur Schroff, to whom, along with Mrs. Schroff who served as accompanist, much credit and appreci­ ation are due.
