With one of the most exciting comeback victories of the year the W arsaw Pigskinners completed their season by defeating Pingry for the state championship 21-14.
By winning, the football team be came the third of the fall teams to achieve the state championship rank ing. Coach Chuck Nelson remarked “The successful season was a re sult of the dedicated team effort by the players.” This is evident when you consider that the team reversed its record of last year. Bob Campbell was selected as the most valuable
player and Doug Salvati received the coaches award.
