THE ACADEMIC ASSOCIATION
Vresident— Jane Edwardsen Vice-President— Pamela A nderson
Secretary and Treasurer— Bettie Bridges
This year Jane Edwardsen, the new President, worked very hard to make the Association more of a power m the school. She had some very good plans, some of which she had time to carry out, and others that will
have to be worked out in the succeeding years. The Student Council was
organized, consisting of the Presidents of all the classes, the officers of the
Academic Association, and those of the Athletic Association. But as luck
would have it the behavior of the school did not merit any meetings and
so we don t know how it will work out. The council will, however,
nominate the officers for next year in the two societies we have men tioned above.
THE ATHLETIC ASSOCIATION
President— Betty R ussell
Vice-President— Malene Tuttle
Secretary and Treasurer— Betty Schoonmaker
Ever since she was in the Elementary, we have thought that Betty Russell would make a good Athletics head. And she has proved that we
were right again. This year there was a great deal of enthusiasm over
sports, and co-operating heartily with Miss Clifford and Miss Stinson, the
Association has helped run everything very smoothly. The plans are going
forward very rapidly for the Athletic Banquet which will be given at the
Country Club again, on May 25th. We are sure it will be a great success with these grand organizers at work on it.
