Girl's Basketball
The Girls Varsity Basketball Team finished the season with a 11-7 record. Under Coach Allen Everhart in his fifth season, the girls won the second Wardlaw-Hartridge Christmas Invitational Tournament in a row and for the second straight year, reached the semifinals of the Prep B” State Tournament. In both years of the states, they were beaten by the eventual state champion. Villa Walsh. The four senior starters were Kerry Sullivan, Sachina Lyons, Laura Malfitano and Lisa Horwitz. The strong play of sophomore Michelle Wright, Junior Noni Robinson and freshman Valerie Pate proved to be the nucleus of next year's team.
