The Peer Leadership Program turned its attention to the eighth grade this year with a new prospective. Unlike the years before, the four faculty advisors and the eighteen peer leaders worked with eighth graders instead of ninth graders. The eighth graders (being the newest and the youngest members of the upper school and the world of adolescence) benefited greatly from the change as they adjusted to high school. With this slightly modified task, the peer leaders took part in activities like the summer retreat. Parent's Night, a holiday party, and the Cabaret which displayed the excellent group dynamics and the purposes of the program. The help of the dedicated ad visers, Leslie Rudnyanszky, Janice Schroeder, Matt Temme, and Ellen Spinner, teamed with the active partici pation of the seniors, made this year a delightful and tremendous success.
