This year's W.H. concert band has worked very hard to improve its sight reading ability as well as its overall musicality. They have challenged themselves with more difficult and interesting pieces such as a Mozart medley, a Spanish work called Amparito Roca, a Canadian folk song, and a Beatles' medley. For the winter concert a small ensemble accompanied the chorus in a Korean song, Arirang, in honor of the Geography Awareness Program. The Canadian folk song is for the spring concert in honor of the Canadian Program.
