The Athletic Association, 1918-19
A meeting of the Athletic Association was held early in the year in
which about twelve new members were added. The election of the officers had been made last year as follows:
President, Anna Frazar
rice President— Katherine Shellabarger Secretary—Margery Meigs
Treusurer—Catherine Stockwell
In November we held a meeting and voted ten dollars of our money
to the United War Work Campaign.
In the middle of the winter we had a prolonged discussion about how
we should award the hockey letters. The decision was that we should
0
abolish the amendment.
It was also voted that if a girl had already received her letter in
hockey, basketball or tennis, she should receive a stripe for each additional time she won it.
We voted to play a game in basketball with some outside school, but were unable to make the arrangements. The inter-class games have been played, however, and the Seniors are the winning team.
The Athletic Banquet will be given sometime in May. 38
